This programme highlights Arvo Pärt's minimalist and mystical writing by offering his complete organ music. In this programme, I associate him with composers of repetitive music from the post-modern era: Philip Glass and Steve Reich. Their works highlight the dreamy, hovering lines of the organ. As an option, in order to stimulate curiosity and the discovery of this minimalist music, I can associate the composers Peter Michael Hamel and Hans Zimmer, better known in the field of film music.
