Alice Di Piazza is considered and described by international critics as one of the most talented pianists of her generation and is now a recognized artist who has won her place on the best international stages.

Invited to perform throughout all Europe, Russia and China at the most esteemed international concert halls and festivals such as the Leipzig Gewandhaus Concert Hall, the Vienna Musikverein, the KKL Festival in Lucerne, the Stadtcasino Basel, the Moscow Tchaikovsky State Conservatory Hall, the Wiltz International Music Festival in Luxembourg, the Saydashev State Big Concert Hall in Kazan, the De Singel in Antwerp, the International Bergen Music Festival in Norway, the New Music Week Festival in Shangai, the Shangyin Opera House in Shangai, The Jangsu Zijn Grand Theatre in Nanjing, the Teatro Massimo in Palermo, the Teatro Dante Alighieri in Ravenna, the Arsonic Concert Hall in Mons, the Great Hall of the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, the Klaipeda Spring Music Festival in Lithuania, the La Chaux-De-Fonds Music Society in Switzerland, and many others.

Alice Di Piazza has been invited to play with the Leipzig Gewandhausorchester, the Festival String Lucerna Orchestra, Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory Symphony Orchestra, The Basel Sinfonietta, the Suzhou Symphony Orchestra, the Tatarstan National Symphony Orchestra, the Orchestra del Teatro Massimo di Palermo, the Klaipedos Camerini Chamber Orchestra, the Musiques Nouvelles Ensemble etc..

Alice Di Piazza started studying piano at the age of three. While still a student, she won several piano competitions and obtained a scholarship allowing her to perfect her skills at the Royal Academy of Music in London. She also studies in London with the pianist Enrique Arias, one of the last students of the great Chilean pianist, Claudio Arrau.

She could also benefit from the valuable advice of the pianists Krystian Zimerman, Wieslaw Szlachta and Maria Joao Pires.

She decided to devote herself also to the study of orchestral conducting, counterpoint, fugue and composition at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Brussels.

Alice Di Piazza started performing in concerts from a very young age.

She made her debut at the age of twelve with a solo recital at the Teatro Vittorio Emanuele in Messina (Italy).

Her recitals receive a particularly enthusiastic and eulogistic reception from international critics who refer to her as “an exceptional soloist”, “showing great virtuosity and incredible interpretation”, “with the fervor of an extraordinary pianist”, “offering a perfect balance between music and poetry”, “performing a remarkably lyrical and moving interpretation”.

Following the success of her concerts at the Gewandhaus concert hall in Leipzig, where she performed with the Gewandhausorchester under de conducting of Michael Sanderling, Alice was directly engaged to record for Deutsche Grammophone with the Gewandhausorchester and Andris Nelson.

Also present on various radio and television channels, Alice Di Piazza was featured among others on Rai 3 (Italy), LRT (Lithuania), Radio Classique (France), RTS, SRF and Canal Alpha (Switzerland).

Alice Di Piazza often collaborates with contemporary composers. Several compositions, which she has created, are also dedicated to her.

In 2011, she met the Russian composer Sofia Gubaidulina with whom she began intense deepening work on the interpretation of her music.

Alice has recorded for Naxos and Indesens recording labels.

Alice has payed chamber music with the russian cellist Ivan Monighetti and the pianist Pierre Reach.

Alice Di Piazza is also invited to give numerous piano and chamber music Master Classes in Italy, Belgium, France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and China.

Between her concerts, Alice Di Piazza lives in Switzerland away from the world and its mundaneness, tirelessly continuing to perfect her Art.
