Rémi Jousselme
A versatile musician, Rémi Jousselme is involved in a wide range of artistic projects. Throughout his career, he has shared the stage with a large number of other instrumentalists and ensembles (orchestras, quartets, vocal ensembles, etc.), as well as with popular and classical singers, dancers and actors.
Born in Marseille in 1977, Rémi Jousselme has won first prizes at several international competitions in France and abroad, including the prestigious “Printemps de la Guitare” in Belgium, which awarded the prize to a French guitarist for the first and only time. On that occasion, he recorded an album ranging from the Romantic repertoire to contemporary works. His second album, ‘Brasiliana’, a survey of Brazilian music ranging from popular to avant-garde, was released in 2005 by Altaïs Music; a live DVD recorded in Seoul was released in 2009, and his latest album ‘Exils’, dedicated to the composers Toru Takemitsu and Atanas Ourkouzounov, was released in November 2016 on the Spanish label Contrastes Records, as a tribute to Toru Takemitsu on the 20th anniversary of his death.
Highly active in the field of contemporary music, he collaborates with leading musicians and ensembles on the current scene (Musicatreize, Ensemble Intercontemporain, Les Siècles, Quatuor Bela, Les Métaboles…) and has performed at international festivals in Paris, Seville, San José (Costa Rica), Daegu, Daejeon (South Korea), Avignon ‘In’ (France), Prades (France),
Musica in Strasbourg (France), Folle Journée in Tokyo (Japan), the International House of Music in Moscow, the Novel Hall in Taipei, and the Tiara Koto Hall in Tokyo... and has collaborated with composers Zad Moultaka, Bruno Mantovani, Philippe Leroux, Felix Ibarrondo and Jean-Pierre Drouet, Atanas Ourkouzounov, Thomas Bordalejo, Yan Maresz…
Rémi Jousselme was profoundly influenced by the teachings of Laurent Blanquart, Gérard Abiton and Pablo Márquez. He now teaches as a professor at the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Tours, as well as at the Pôle Supérieur de Toulouse (isdaT). He is a regular guest at Pôles Supérieurs, universities and conservatoires in France and abroad.
He performs as a soloist and chamber musician in Europe and Asia, playing a Vicente Carrillo guitar and Savarez strings.

Tristan Manoukian
A guitar teacher at the CNSMD in Paris, Tristan Manoukian performs regularly as a soloist at festivals and in concert halls (Printemps des Arts in Monaco, the USA, Italy and Germany). He premieres contemporary works and collaborates with numerous musicians and various ensembles such as Ysire, Rosaces, Polychronies and Alchemy, performing in France and abroad. He also continues to promote a new repertoire for guitar through his arrangements, supported by the Canadian publisher Les Productions d’Oz, the French publisher Fougeray, the prestigious Universal publishing house in Vienna and, more recently, by 80 Days Publishing.
For several years, Tristan Manoukian has been performing with guitarist Rémi Jousselme in a duo strongly committed to promoting a repertoire never before played on the guitar. He also composes music for documentary films and works as an actor-musician with theatre companies such as Pantai and DOZIThéâtre. He has shared his expertise through various teaching roles: guitar pedagogy at the Pôle Supérieur de Lille and the CNSMDP, a course on artistic creation at the Pôle Supérieur de Paris-Boulogne, and mentoring students at Cefedem.
During his training years, he had the immense privilege of being selected by Julian Bream to study under his guidance at the Rencontres musicales d’Évian.
